Canadian Collar Accessories

The Canadian Collar is for lightweight support of the head and designed to relieve pain and neurological symptoms common to many cervical spine disorders.

The Canadian Collar Accessories provide additional support when needed. There are 3 different size chin pieces – the middle size or standard comes with the adult collar and the small size comes with the child collar.

The Larger Chin piece accessory gives additional side support. Additionally, it may be utilized for support at the base of the head in the back.

The Infant Chinpiece is available for pediatric ages from six months. The mid chin piece is the standard adult size.

Additional tubes are available providing extra side support as well as customization for complicated cases.

Additional tubes measure 2.5, 3 and 3.5 inches (6.3, 7.6 and 8.9 centimeters). Four additional T-Shape Connectors come with the add-on pack.

This is an innovative collar and is suitable for use in Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, ALS, Whiplash, Multiple Sclerosis, Burns & other disabilities which only require lightweight head and neck control.

The collar is most useful for conditions like Rheumatoid Arthritis of the neck or other conditions where correct head positioning provides pain relief. It can be used for many reasons, but the main thing is that it is NOT designed to hold the entire weight of the head. The Headmaster Cervical Collar IS designed to hold the entire weight of the head – and is indicated over the Canadian Collar when this need is called for.

It is a bracing system that has vertical supports in the front and back which are able to be completely customized. The chest extension takes pressure from the chin piece. It may be fine tuned using the Canadian Collar Accessories for a more comfortable and functional fit. Distinctive in its style and design, it may be used for prolonged periods of time while maintaining muscle tone by not completely restricting mobility.
