Email question - Can the neck massager help a pinched nerve?

Email - I have recently established that I have a pinched nerve between disk 5 and 6. I have repeated physio, but feel that your neck massager will be a good option, is this the case, or is this the wrong type of machine to help me, please advise, thanks.

The neck massager is good for passive exercise to the joints which can help bring nutrition and increase circulation to the joints and muscles.

If not used too aggressively, the neck massager is a nice option for home therapy and long term use. I would not, however, use this as the only means to help heal the pinched nerve area and prevent excessive degenerative changes.

Active exercise, nutritional supplementation and postural considerations also play an important role. This may or may not be adressed by your physiotherapist helping with your pinched nerve.

I do get alot of positive feedback with the neck massager which also helps to reduce stress, further enhancing the massage and passive motion effect.
