Membrell Natural Eggshell Membrane Proven To Significantly Decrease PainThe Natural Eggshell Membrane in Membrell Joint Health is a single source supplement containing a unique blend of all natural nutrients — hyaluronic acid (HA), glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate, and collagen.
We have conducted two open label clinical trials that have been submitted for publication and peer review and one double blind placebo human clinical trial that will be submitted for publication shortly.
The results of the studies showed that supplementation with Natural Eggshell Membrane produced an average 25% reduction in pain (study 1) and an average 28% increase in flexibility (study 2) in just 7 days. By the end of the 30 day trial, patients in study 2 had an average reduction in pain of more than 72% (See graph, right) and nearly half of these patients reported that they were completely pain free by the end of the study. Flexiblity had improved by an average 44% (Study 2) (See graph, lower left) with more than half of the patients experiencing greater than 50% improvement in flexiblity by the end of the study. NEM not only improved flexibility , it also reduced the pain patients experienced while flexing the affected joint (range of motion - ROM) by 76% (See graph inset, lower left) No side effects were reported by study participants.
In a radomized, double blind, placebo controlled human clinical study being prepared for publication, orally administered NEM produced an average 13% reduction in stiffness in just 10 days. By the end of the 60-day trial, a full third of the patients had experienced a greater than 50% reduction in pain & more than half of the patients had experienced a greater than 50% reduction in stiffness. Again, no side effects were reported by study participants. Clinical studies with Natural Eggshell Membrane have proven that there is a significant pain reduction after only 7 days of treatment, which continues to decrease right up until the 30 day visit that concluded the study. The results of these studies show that, taken daily, one 500 mg. capsule of NEM, will reduce pain caused from a variety of joint and connective tissues injuries including, but not limited to:Fibromyalgia, Carpal Tunnel, Osteoarthritis, TMJ and Lupus Clinical Study One - Open Label Clinical Evaluation of Natural Eggshell Membrane for Reduction of Joint and Soft Tissue Pain Pain assessment ratings, range of motion and pain associated with range of motion measurements were statistically evaluated using one-way analysis of variance and a means comparison analysis. Subjects studied performed evaluations on levels of pain before treatment, daily for the first 7 days and at day 30.
Clinical Study Two—Two-Phase Clinical Evaluation of Natural Eggshell Membrane Compositions for Reduction of Joint and Soft Tissue Pain The population of this study included subjects with lower back pain, knee, hip, shoulder, leg, and hand pain. Many subjects reported multiple pain sites and two subjects were diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. There were two phases evaluated in this clinical. Phase one: Randomized double-arm evaluation of two Natural Eggshell Membrane compositions for 7 days. Phase two: Evaluation of standard Natural Eggshell Membrane composition from day 8 to day 30.
