Supporting and warming effectOur Medical Neck Brace distinguishes itself through its warming and supporting effect. In addition, the anatomically shaped cervical brace with recesses for your chin and larynx offers you a high level of wearer comfort. The skin-friendly cover can be supplied in three different colors. You can put the Medical Neck Brace on and take it off easily; the circumference can be adjusted from 14.5 to 19.5 inches using the hook-and-loop closure. The medical neck brace is washable and therefore suitable for long-term use. Whiplash is an injury of the cervical spine. It is caused by the sudden overextension and subsequent extreme flexion of the cervical spine, for example during an automobile collision. This often results in strain trauma of cartilage in the neck and can be accompanied by severe headaches or painful tension of the neck musculature. These symptoms do not necessarily appear immediately. Often, pain is noticeable only after hours or even days. Although whiplash usually heals within a few weeks without subsequent problems, a thorough medical examination should always be performed in order to exclude the possibility of nerve injuries or other problems.
Our medical neck brace has an adjustable length and comes in three heights: 8cm, 10cm and 12cm which is 3.1, 3.9 and 4.7 inches respectively. The brace heights correlate with small, medium and large size individuals. More specifically, you can measure from the top of the collar bone to the bottom of your chin while your head is looking straight forward and this will give you an approximation of the correct size neck brace for you. You can measure using your thumb on the collar bone and index finger under the chin, then place the distance of this against a ruler.
