Magnetic Seat Cushion Aids Back Pain Relief While Sitting

This is a quality magnetic seat cushion designed to aid in relief of back pain and discomfort while sitting for extended periods of time.

The Magnetic Seat Cushion is constructed of durable, attractive, soft blue fabric quilted to structural grade (3/4 ounces per square foot) polyester fiber padding with an additional 5/8" polyurethane foam on top. We use 60 large 1" x 1/4" ceramic disc magnets. The bottom layer is made of 5/8" polyurethane foam with a grey backing to create exceptional support and comfort.

The seat cushion is very comfortable, yet will not interfere with the style of your seat. Two strong elastic straps are fastened to the cushion and holds it securely to any seat back.

Sitting back on the magnetic seat cushion allows the magnets to relax capillary walls which boost blood flow to the painful area. They may help to prevent muscle spasms by interfering with muscle contractions and the electrochemical reactions that take place within nerve cells, impeding their ability to transmit pain messages to the brain. Pain relief can be controlled with over the counter and prescription painkillers, but unlike pain medications, magnets do not carry any risk of side effects.

A study by Dr. Kazuo Shimodaira from the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department of the San-Ikukai Hospital, The Tokyo Communications Hospital, and The Kouseikai Suzuki Hospital, in Japan found that magnetic therapy had no abnormal changes and 70% of the patients exhibited improvement within 5 days, over 53% in 3 days. The rate of improvement for back and lower back pain was 80.3%!
