The back support cushion relieves lower back discomfort by providing a firm, yet comfortable sitting surface which brings the hips back by lifting the individual from a slumped position to a natural upright posture. It supports the back by reducing pressure on the lumbar muscles. Constructed of a 1/8" thick carbon steel frame covered by slotted rubber supports. The 2 supports are connected with hinges that are impact resistant. Material used in the back support cushion is durable, washable and flame-resistant.

Comes with extra padding all over, including seat and back area "wings" providing lateral support, and a removable, adjustable lumbar support pad.
